I struggled on whether to give Grand Quarters an overall rating of 4 or 5 stars. Five stars suggests it's perfect. Grand Quarters is excellent, but not perfect. I think 4 1/2 stars would be most accurate; I give them the benefit and round up because their service and attention to detail is exceptional. To start, I found the first photo that pops up on Google--which shows a beautiful rooftop patio with gardens and a panoramic view of the city skyline--to be somewhat misleading, at least with regard to the unit we had. We did have an outdoor patio, but the view was obstructed in large degree by the elevated train tracks that ran beside the building. My immediate concern was whether said train would awaken us during the night. Thanks to the unit's impressively engineered soundproof windows, it did not. The unit had what I guess would be considered two half baths, one with a shower and the other with a toilet, which is certainly preferable to a single full bath when you have a family of four. With that said, the half bath with the toilet was tight to say the least, making it almost comical for a guy of my height (6'4") to take care of business. Both half baths were immaculately clean and well-maintained, as was the rest of the apartment. One would think they must have Mary Poppins on their housekeeping staff. All the appliances--stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer--were modern and in good working order. Likewise, the unit's A/C kept us comfortably cool in the 90+ F Vienna summer heat. Knowing that we had a party of four, Grand Quarters already had the sofa bed made out for us, a nice touch that reflects the attention to detail that I noticed in every aspect of the unit. There was a strange odor on the first floor of the building and the elevator. Without fail, my kids would make a comment about it every time we came or left. Fortunately, it was not discernable on the floor we were on (1D) or the unit itself. This apartment is located in Landstrasse (3rd) District and is about a 30-min walk or 10-min tram ride to Innere Stadt, which is where I expect most tourists like us will spend most of their time. We didn't mind the distance at all; the tram is very convenient and my kids enjoyed riding it. Plus, notwithstanding the distance to Innere Stadt, the location is within a short walking distance (10-15 min) to other places of interest: Wien Mitte (shopping mall), along with its nearby restaurants and shops, Hundertwasserhaus, and Prater. The Grand Quarters staff--Stefania in particular--was exceptionally responsive and helpful, such as directing me to the best value parking garage near the apartment. Overall, I highly recommend Grand Quarters and appreciate them making our first visit to the beautiful city of Vienna a very special one. - 8/25/2024 

Air conditioning was great as it was hot the week we were there. Great location convenient to museums and rental bikes / river swims. Washing machine was another nice perk. Top floor, nice views. - 7/11/2024

The apartment was in a very walkable location with several good tram lines at our feet. It was nice to have a bit of outside space as well. Moe and Stephanie were very communicative and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. - 7/05/2024

Tuvimos una buena estadía. El alojamiento es muy luminoso y cómodo para 4 personas. Esta cerca del tram y de la estación de trenes. El lobby de entrada está en construcción y eso molesta un poco. El anfitrión es excelente y muy atento a las necesidades del huésped. El precio de 250 euros diarios es un poco elevado, teniendo en cuenta que el departamento no está ubicado en la zona céntrica. No tiene servicio de limpieza durante la estadia. Es solo al dejar el departamento y cuesta aproximadamente 100 euros. Para un servicio de limpieza durante la estadía hay que pagar 100 euros. Yo creo, que en una estadía de una semana, un servicio de limpieza intermedio debería estar incluido en el precio.
El departamento esta muy bien equipado con lavaplatos y lavarropas. Faltaría un horno a microndas. El servicio de internet es muy bueno. Recomiendo el lugar. - 6/30/2024 

It was a great experience staying at the Grand Quarters for my week-long trip in Vienna. The location is perfect with public transport literally at the doorstep. Our host Moe had been more than helpful and was always very prompt whenever we have questions or requests. Would recommend! - 6/29/2024 

Host Moe deserves more than 5 stars! He responded within minutes to any question, including before reservation. Our flight arrived in early morning and Moe confirmed the day before we arrived that it would be possible to check in early (9:30 am). Moe provided extra coffee as soon as requested and this Nespresso machine coffee was absolutely delicious. I came with my 14 year old while I attended a conference at the Vienne Messe (large conference center, 15 min walk). This was the perfect location for the two of us as my kid loved the Prater amusement park, which was so nearby we could simply go each evening after conference day ended. Walk to/from conference center and Prater seemed safe even at night. Train noise in apt. was loud, but windows kept noise out and there was AC to keep cool. Supermarket below closed until August, but Billa supermarket (open til 8 pm Mon-Sat) is less than 10 min walk. Walk to historic city center was easy and safe, ~20 min. - 6/28/2024 

We stayed as a family and it was perfect. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The location is perfect its right by the amusement park, train station, lots of restaurants, 20 min walk to sisi museum and the palace, perfect location. Would definitely stay again. - 6/28/2024 

Place is well located, has a tram right in front which can get you anywhere, there’s a cafe close by. Has all amenities as described, place was comfortable for 2 adults, 2 kids. TV is in an odd spot when sofa bed is open. Good terrace, would recommend. There’s also the option to paid reserved parking by the host which is conveniently located 2 min. walk. - 6/28/2024 

Wonderful arbnb in the heart of Vienna. The apartment was exactly as pictured -spacious modern and beautiful.

Moe was very responsive with questions we had as well as figuring out ligestics for leaving our luggage a few hours after checkout so we could continue to enjoy Vienna before catching our flight.
